20th Anniversary Celebration
The Cal. Co. Rodeo 20th Anniversary Celebration will be held on Friday, April 8th and Saturday, April 9th at Hogskin Arena at 7:30 P.M. each night. Admission will be $ 6.00 per person.
Through a collaborative effort we have put together, what we believe will be the "Best" Cal. Co. Rodeo ever. This 20th Anniversary Rodeo Celebration should be nothing short of electrifying and breathtaking.

The Cal. Co. Rodeo has gained in popularity over the years largely because of the Specialty Acts that are brought in to perform during the rodeo. This year is certainly no exception. The Calhoun County Park Board along with the Calhoun County Rodeo Committee will proudly present "The Charro", Tomas Garcilazo from Oak Hills, California the 2007 PRCA Specialty Act of the Year-Las Vegas Nation Finals Rodeo. Tomas Garcilazo will perform his Charro Traditional Horsemanship and Rope Artistry on the arena floor under the lights each night of the rodeo. The Cal. Co. Rodeo Anniversary Celebration is truly going to be a celebration. Following the rodeo Friday night April 8th in concert will be Ryan Couron playing his rocking country music as our rodeo fans dance the night away on the arena floor under the lights. Ryan Couron playing has just released his latest CD, "Play What I Feel Like" with hit singles "Huntin and Fishin" and "Saddle Up". The rockin country sounds of Ryan Couron will be blasting from the back of a "Tricked Out" award winning show semi "Audrie Lynn" furnished by Tim Ables Trucking of Kilgore, TX. The Hogskin Hunnies are always a crowd favorite. The Hunnies have grown in popularity since the birth of the Hunnies in 1997. This "Ladies Only" mounted equestrian drill team, not only carries the sponsorship flags and sets the pivot points for the Grand Entry of our rodeo each year. They also carry those sponsorship flags in the Hogskin Holidays Festival Parade. The Hunnies have performed their fast pace routines in rodeos and parades all over South Arkansas, but they always call Hogskin Arena and Calhoun County their home.
